AIM HI

part of Girlguiding UK’s Healthy Individual Initiative

This is a new resource that aims to promote physical and emotional and health well-being through a holistic approach, not just focusing on exercise and diet.

It has activities for all sections, Rainbows through to Adult Leaders, and can be used as an introduction to other resources, such as the  Roundabout Get Healthy, The  Healthy Heart badge, various  Go For Its and the Senior Section look Wider Scheme.

There is a badge available and you can make ‘healthy bodies’.

Brownsea Island - Attention!!

Due to an incident on the ferry between Poole and Brownsea Island, baggage has now been restricted to 2 pieces of hand luggage per person. This means that groups wishing to camp on Brownsea will no longer be able to take all their equipment over unless they hire a private boat (£100 each journey). Alternatively Brownsea Island does have it's own kit to hire. Prices can be found on the Brownsea Island website.
